DAY 1 of my Touchpoint Anxiety Reflexology Training 🇩🇰✨

This week I’m deepening my practice through an incredible 3-day course with the Touchpoint team from Denmark — the leaders in clinical reflexology education. Their approach to supporting anxiety through the nervous system, endocrine balance, and grounding reflex techniques is absolutely mind-blowing.

I’m learning new, research-informed protocols that help calm the vagus nerve, settle emotional overwhelm, and support the body in finding safety again. This work is powerful… and I can’t wait to bring these techniques back to my clients at Balance & Flow Reflexology.

It feels amazing to keep growing, learning, and sharpening the craft I love. 💛👣
Stay tuned — I’ll be sharing insights and takeaways throughout the training.

Sitting here with Shelly, my love, at Dobra Tea House West — the moment I step inside, something shifts. The air feels softer, the world slows down, and I immediately feel called to do what I love most: reflexology. 🌿

There’s a peace in this space that moves through every sense — the warmth of the tea, the scent of the leaves, the quiet hum of conversation. It’s as if the energy itself invites the body to let go. 🍃

I always wish I could bring my reflexology practice into this kind of environment all the time — where every sip of tea deepens the calm for both me and the person I’m working on. The tea soothes the mind, the touch balances the body, and together they create a harmony words can’t quite capture. ☕💆‍♂️

Trigeminal Nerve: “The trigeminal nerve is the fifth and largest cranial nerve, responsible for providing sensation to the face and controlling chewing muscles. It has three main branches—the ophthalmic (V1), maxillary (V2), and mandibular (V3)—which transmit feelings like touch, pain, and temperature from different areas of the face and mouth to the brain.

❄️Branches and their functions❄️

✔️Ophthalmic nerve (V1): This branch provides sensation to the forehead, the eye, the upper eyelid, and the nose.

✔️Maxillary nerve (V2): This branch provides sensation for the middle of the face, including the cheek, upper teeth and gums, lower eyelid, and the side of the nose.

✔️Mandibular nerve (V3): This branch provides sensation to the lower part of the face, including the jaw, lower teeth and gums, and lower lip. It also contains motor fibers that control the muscles used for chewing.”

Happy Birthday, Mom ❤️

Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you, your laughter, your curiosity, your love for life, and the way you saw adventure in everything. You were an explorer at heart, whether you were diving into a new episode of Star Trek or dreaming about the next world to discover.

Today, your altar is surrounded by the things you loved, reminders of your spirit that continues to guide me. You taught me how to be brave, how to see possibility where others see limits, and how to lead with compassion. You were the first to believe that I could use my hands to heal through reflexology, that I could make a difference in the world. And you were right, because your belief planted the seed that grew into everything I do today.

I miss you deeply, but I celebrate you even more the mother, the dreamer, the adventurer. Your light still travels across galaxies, just like the stories you loved. And in that same starlight, I feel you with me always.

Happy birthday, Mom. 💫🖖

There’s nothing quite like watching someone’s whole body soften and release during a reflexology session. This is my passion and my purpose — creating a space where healing begins from the feet up.
