Gillespie Physical Therapy & Massage will be closed for the holidays from Tuesday December 21st to the following Tuesday December 28th with limited access to phone and email.

The office will reopen Wednesday, December 29th.

We are happy to announce that we will be seeing patients in-person again starting Monday, May 11th!

We will be able to provide physical therapy services only at this time. We are not yet able to provide massage therapy services under North Carolina's restrictions.

While many these guidelines have always been part of our standard practice, we will be following CDC and American Physical Therapy Association guidance to ensure the safety of our patients including:
-the therapist will be wearing a face mask and will provide you with one if you wish
-adjusting the schedule to ensure there is no possibility of patient overlap and allowing time for extra cleaning measures
-providing one-on-one patient care
-frequent and proper hand hygiene
-screening patients regarding any recent travel, symptoms, possible contact/exposure, and to determine if they are in a high-risk category

In consideration of the current situation with COVID-19, the office will be closed until stay-at-home orders are lifted. While physical therapy is still considered an essential service under the current stay-at-home order guidelines, our health and safety is of my utmost concern. The practice of massage therapy has been ordered to cease in NC for 30 days beginning March 24th.

I am still here and available to you! I am offering video visits so that you can receive the care you need in the comfort and safety of your home. This will allow you to address any new or existing injuries or pains without having to go into a medical office. If you have been attending physical therapy somewhere else and they currently cannot see you, do not stop your progress! I can assess your movement, instruct you in the proper exercises/stretches/self treatments, provide guidance and advice, and help determine if you need to see another healthcare provider.
