Yoga for Tots w/ ! 💕

Here at iShine, we believe that yoga is for EVERYONE. That means that we have classes for yogis ages 0-100+.

Yoga for Tots is one of our newest additions, and we LOVE it! This class is a wonderful way to have fun and introduce your toddler (age 2-4) to yoga. Classes include simple toddler yoga poses, nursery rhymes, games, story time and a “quiet time” with the caregiver.

Introducing iShine’s Ambassador of the Month for October… Caitlin Quinn! .44

In addition to being a long-time “iShineian” and regular teacher, Caitlin brings so much care, compassion, and knowledge to her classes and iShine in general. While there are SO many reasons Caitlin is our Ambassador of the Month, here are a few:

*Shakti Flow!* If you haven’t yet tried it, you are missing out! Shakti Flow is exciting, energizing, feminine, powerful and just plain awesome! Shakti Flow is the brainchild of Caitlin, and Caitlin, we are so grateful you share it with us! You can catch Shakti Flow again October 11th, November 22nd, and December 13th. All Fridays from 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm. Caitlin also taught this on our last retreat and it was a huge hit!

*Thanksgiving Flow!* Come flow with Caitlin on Thanksgiving morning! This year, Caitlin will be teaching the 9 am Vinyasa Flow on Thanksgiving morning.

*300-Hour Training!* Caitlin has joined iShine’s 300-hour YTT that will begin next year. Upon completion, Caitlin will be a lead teacher with even more to share with her students.

*200-Hour YTT Instructor!* Caitlin shares her wealth of knowledge of anatomy with the 200-hour YTTs every year. (This is one of the reasons we have such an amazing training!)

In addition to all of this, Caitlin teaches a busy Tuesday 7:30 pm Candlelit Stretch (Heated) and subs classes for her fellow teachers whenever possible.

The final chakra is the Crown Chakra. It is at the top of the head and is seen as either white or violet. This chakra serves as the bridge from the physical world to the spiritual world. It connects you to your higher self and can be considered the doorway to enlightenment. 💜

This energy center is called the Sahasrara chakra in Sanskrit, translating as “thousands”. This name refers to its depiction as a thousand petals that open gently until you achieve divine consciousness. The chakra is associated with the element of consciousness. 🪷

The crown chakra regulates the functioning of the brain, nervous system, pituitary gland, and pineal gland. When balanced, it provides mental clarity, a sense of purpose, and reduced stress. Physically, you’ll experience better sleep, improved moods, and higher energy levels. However, if the crown chakra becomes unbalanced, you may experience indecisiveness or lack of focus and purpose. You may have migraines, fatigue, or depression.

NATURAL REMEDY

Meditation and yoga nidra can help energize the Crown Chakra and enable you to achieve higher levels of consciousness. 🧘✨
