One of my favorite techniques for body sculpting, particularly in the lower back, is a combination liposuction procedure. To achieve that ideal silhouette you’re looking for, I utilize three powerful tools:

- Traditional Liposuction: The essential first step for effective fat removal.

- Vaser Liposuction: This ultrasound-assisted technology helps me melt fat and tighten the skin.

- Renuvion: I often add this to the procedure to further enhance skin tightening results.

By combining these advanced methods, we can provide a level of precision and contouring that truly transforms your profile.

Concerns about recovery are very common, especially when it comes to pain, downtime, and getting back to normal activities. Many procedures allow patients to return to light activity within 7–10 days, while others may take a bit longer. My goal is to make sure you feel prepared and supported every step of the way so you can recover with confidence.

Chest width plays a major role in implant selection because an implant that’s too wide or too narrow won’t sit naturally on the body. Careful chest measurements help guide implant choice so it aligns precisely with a patient’s anatomy and aesthetic goals. This tailored approach allows the implant to fit the chest to a tee and look balanced long term.

Muscle repair is an important part of a tummy tuck because it helps bring the abdominal muscles back together after pregnancy. This repair creates an internal corset that supports the core and contributes to a flatter, more contoured shape. Patients who choose to avoid muscle repair can still improve skin laxity, but the overall result will be more limited.

A breast lift doesn’t stop time or gravity; it repositions the breast tissue to restore shape. How long results last depends on factors like weight changes and implant size, and when appropriate, internal support such as the internal bra can help stabilize the breast and often provide a longer-lasting result.

Fat grafting can be a great alternative for breast enhancement, especially for patients who prefer not to have an implant. It works well for shaping and subtle volume, typically adding about half to one cup size, but it doesn’t provide the same structural fullness that an implant can offer.

Choosing breast implant size is a highly individualized process. I take the time to understand each patient’s goals through detailed conversation, reference photos, and careful measurements, so their anatomy and vision align to determine the implant that fits them best.

If you’re planning to get pregnant, waiting for breast surgery can make sense. That said, many patients still choose to move forward sooner, and that can be completely appropriate.
The key is understanding that pregnancy changes the body. Breast shape, volume, and skin can all shift, and some concerns may need to be addressed again down the road. As long as expectations are clear, breast surgery can still be a thoughtful and reasonable choice.

Awake breast surgery can be a good option for patients who are comfortable remaining awake and able to tolerate the numbing process used during the procedure. With proper technique, the surgery can be well-controlled and comfortable without the need for general anesthesia.
As with any approach, patient selection is key. A thorough consultation helps determine whether awake surgery aligns with a patient’s comfort level, goals, and overall plan.

One of the most misunderstood parts of breast surgery is recovery. My goal as a surgeon is to help patients return to movement safely and efficiently, not keep them sidelined longer than necessary.
For many patients, that means walking early and gradually resuming light activity, including light weights and a stationary bike, within 7 to 10 days. Thoughtful surgical technique, proper planning, and guided recovery all play a role in helping the body heal while maintaining strength and confidence.
