✨It’s a blessing to be a blessing!✨

At Intentional Steps Counseling Services, we believe in showing up for our community with solution-focused thinking — not just talking about the need, but being part of the answer. ❤️

This month, we’re collecting non-perishable food items to help fill the gap caused by recent SNAP program changes. Every can, every box, every shared post makes a difference!

📍Drop-offs accepted Monday–Friday 10am–6pm and Saturdays 10am–2pm
📦 Location: 7156 Weddington Rd, Unit 110, Concord, NC 28027

All donations will be delivered to Second Harvest Food Bank and the Jamil Niner Food Bank on the campus of UNC Charlotte.

If you can’t donate, please share this post — that simple act can help reach someone who can give. Together, we can make a meaningful impact.

💫 Let’s show what it looks like when compassion meets intentionality.

🌞 Good Morning, Intentional Family! 💛

We’re showing up intentionally this month! In response to the new law impacting SNAP benefits effective today, November 1, our team at Intentional Steps Counseling Services is stepping forward to be part of the solution — not just the conversation.

✨ Starting today, we’re launching our November Food Drive — collecting non-perishable food items all month long to support families right here in our community who may be impacted by these changes. Because when we see a gap, we fill it with compassion, action, and purpose. 💪🏾

🕓 Collection Days & Times:
📅 Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
📅 Saturday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

📍 Drop-Off Location:
7156 Weddington Rd., Unit 110
Concord, NC

🥫 We’re Collecting:
All non-perishable food items — canned goods, rice, pasta, beans, boxed meals, peanut butter, cereal, etc. Every item makes a difference!

💛 Our Goal:
Each Friday in November, we’ll donate to our local partners — Second Harvest Food Bank, the Jamil Niner Food Pantry at UNC Charlotte, and other community food banks that are on the frontlines of helping families in need.

🎥 Here’s how you can help:
Please share this video to help spread the word! Let your friends, family, and community know that this is something we’re doing as an organization with heart. Together, we can reach more people and remind others that intentional living starts with giving.

Let’s be a blessing this season — one can, one box, one act of kindness at a time. 💛

We started the morning at Chosen City Church’s Mental Health Forum and had a phenomenal time alongside my mother, Mama Jones and ISCS therapist Mrs. Mason — representing Intentional Steps Counseling Services and, of course, myself, Dr. Sherronda Banks, DSW, LCSW, LISW-CP 💚

Moments like these remind me why I do what I do — connecting, educating, and serving our community through conversations that matter. Mental health is community health. 💫

We’re always looking for opportunities to collaborate and continue the work of healing, growth, and intentional living.
