Hey everyone! Dr. Traylor here with your weekly wellness tip. Today’s topic is all about the sciatic nerve stretches!
Here are 2 things to target low back and sciatic pain :
1. Hamstring stretch: Heel down, toes to nose with your leg extended. Hinge at the hips and you’ll feel this stretch through the back of the leg. 3x20s both sides
2. Piriformis stretch: Sit with upright posture, cross leg into figure 4 position, pull knee to opposite shoulder and hold. You’ll feel this stretch through the glute of the crossed leg. 3x 20s both sides.

Hey everyone! Dr. Traylor here with your weekly wellness tip. Today’s topic is all about the ankle!
Here are 2 things to target the ankle and improve function:
1. Knee to wall: Plant foot forward (this is the active ankle) lean forward driving your knee to the wall while keeping foot planted to stretch the mobilize the front of the ankle.
2. Steady and challenged balance: Balance is vital to practice. Try this challenge with narrow feet➡️arms crossed➡️eyes closed. Then try tandem stance➡️arms crossed➡️eyes closed.
