As a Clinical Supervisor, she is responsible for the oversight of Masters level Marriage and Family Therapy Interns from various universities in the Philadelphia area. She specializes in couples therapy, working children and their families and working with individuals with abuse or trauma histories. She is adaptable as a therapist and has a natural way of connecting to others. Genevieve Powell, M.A., LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor in Training at a non-profit agency. Genevieve has almost ten years worth of experience specializing in working with children with behavioral problems, families affected by Autism (developmental disorders), blended families, individuals with trauma histories, couples (all types), and eating disorders. Her approach to client care includes a strong teamwork attitude, exceptional organizational and time management skills, patience, compromise, and a natural ability to connect with people.
