Artis Senior Living, a memory care residence located in Huntingdon Valley, PA, is a senior living community that is 100% dedicated to caring for those with Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias. Our philosophy embraces Positive Partnerships the Artis Way. We believe that active communication between residents and associates leads to effective customized care for people with dementia. At Artis, we practice two-way communication to empower and equip residents to participate in their own care, and experience the dignity and comfort that is their due. Our Huntingdon Valley residence sits on four and half acres, four miles from Philadelphia. This community will consist of 72 single-occupancy studio suites, all of which will accommodate a full private bathroom for each resident's privacy. Outside, private courtyards threaded with walking paths are beautifully landscaped and resident-friendly. Inside, four distinct neighborhoods each house their own open kitchen, living room, dining room, and individual memory care suites. Residential finishes and smaller scale spaces offer visual cues and a warm, familiar feel. Neighborhoods meet at the Neighborhood Square, a gathering place, event venue, wellness center, and entertainment hub. The Square is where we reach across and reach out to community within and beyond Artis. Memory care can and should look different for each person who needs it. Artis associates and residents build rewarding relationships that seek to expand positive growth and personal fulfillment through a sustained circle of support. Our architecture and design complement our programs by offering both intimate spaces and social opportunities, as the moment requires. Throughout March, we’re exploring Play as Curiosity at Artis! 🔎

​​Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics – or STEM – programs help people on the dementia journey by organizing environmental input and engaging multiple senses simultaneously. ​​

Join us later this month for our Power of Play signature event! 🧠 The Inventive Minds Wonder Workshop 🧠 is a multisensory, STEM-based program where we’ll explore light, shadow, movement, and simple inventions – encouraging curiosity and problem-solving, supporting fine-motor skills, and building confidence. ​​
