SNACKS FOR STAFF ❤️

The Snacks for Staff bags were a way that the Auxiliary can extend our heartfelt appreciation to Huntingdon's Penn Highlands Healthcare workers for always striving to be the best of the best. The mission of the Auxiliary is to offer an extra dimension of care and services to the hospital community. We're thankful for your work and unconditional dedication to the hospital's mission, not to mention proud to support you!

We need you Huntington! We have lots of Chicken BBQ tickets left and we would love to get them all sold by Sunday. Take a break from cooking or pay it forward and buy some tickets for your family and neighbors to take a break from cooking. We will have tickets at the Huntingdon Elks for you to purchase tonight-Sunday. The Auxiliary wants to continue to do amazing things for our local hospital and community. Dear Auxilians and Potential Auxilians,

The past year has been overflowing with challenges and upheaval across the globe and right here at home. Our hospital on the hill has stood strong against the COVID-19 pandemic and continues the fight. While this past year has been unprecedented, we have much reason to hope as we look to the future. The Auxiliary has helped to coordinate volunteers for vaccination clinics and the community continues to get to know the incredible staff. Healthcare as we know it continues to change and evolve, and our hospital remains at the forefront committed to bringing our community exceptional care. There is much to celebrate, but we need you and your support to continue our work to benefit the hospital and the dedicated employees.

This past year meant the Auxiliary lost out on our traditional fundraisers that have garnered tremendous support. Our annual gala was cancelled last year and it appears unlikely that we will be able to hold it again in 2021. Our lobby sales were switched to an online format and unfortunately not as successful. We’ve been so fortunate to count you as not only a benefactor, but also one of our own members. You understand the importance of having a hospital close to home and your support is critical for it to thrive now and in the future.

Your membership renewal is the first step, but we’re asking you to consider another one. Would you make an additional gift to our Auxiliary this year to give us the opportunity to continue our work? Recognizing and appreciating our hospital staff, providing scholarships for the employees’ children, offering the children’s health fair for the county’s second and third grade students, and providing cable service to patients are just a small part of what we do for our hospital community. Your membership dues and additional contribution will provide the opportunity to continue the Auxiliary’s good work.
