Here is my newest article on Substack. I encourage you to read it so you the current status of prior authorization requests made by your doctor for medical procedures. Because of the burden, many doctors do not tell the truth and just tell patients that it’s pending, when in fact, they never did it. Well now with the new process, it’s inexcusable to not provide patients with excellent patient care in a reasonable or expedited fashion.

Cardiovascular disease is still the #1 killer of men and women in the US and the far majority of physicians have little to no knowledge how to properly test and treat those patients with lipid disorders. It is my hope that after watching my presentation, you will have the knowledge to challenge your doctor to “do the right thing” in order to lower your risk of having a primary or secondary cardiovascular event.
