It’s not that it’s “bad”…

This is one of my favorite ways to actually get your hamstrings to turn on—

Here’s what’s happening:
👉 Place a Pilates ball (or yoga block) behind one knee and gently squeeze
👉 On the standing leg, hold a kettlebell and set up for a hip hinge
👉 You can hold onto something for balance so you can really focus on the movement (highly recommend!)

Now the magic:
As you hinge forward, think about pulling your heel toward your glutes to keep that ball in place.
At the same time, your standing leg is working hard to control the movement.

Then drive through that standing leg to come back up tall—glutes + hamstrings doing the work, not your low back 🙌

✨ Why I love this:
You’re training your hamstrings in BOTH positions
• Lengthened (as you hinge down)
• Shortened (as you keep the ball squeezed)

PLUS you’re layering in balance + core stability without even thinking about it.

This is the kind of movement that carries over into real life—walking, lifting, keeping your body supported and strong 💪

Okay I just got these new LMNT samples in the mail and I had to share—
the pink lemonade is hands down my favorite 🍋

But here’s the thing—this isn’t just about flavor…

A lot of people are drinking tons of water but still feel tired, sore, or sluggish…
and that’s usually because they’re missing the minerals their body actually needs.

which is the same reason I focus so much on supporting the body as a whole in my chiropractic care.

I started a new recovery protocol focused on healing, muscle support, and reducing inflammation…

Already noticing the ability to workout and not become as sore, faster recovery and more energy. This isn’t random for me—this is intentional.

I’m now 45 days into my elimination diet, focused on healing my gut, reducing inflammation, and supporting my body from the inside out.

Because true healing isn’t just about what we do to the body…
it’s about how we support it systemically.

🌅 Sunday’s work shows up on Monday.

I kept it fun and functional with kettlebells this past week — and here’s why I keep coming back to them:

A kettlebell isn’t just a weight — it’s a tool that trains your body the way it was designed to move. Swings build explosive hip power and strengthen your entire posterior chain (hello, healthy spine). Around the worlds challenge your core and shoulder stability in every plane of motion. Squat + upright rows hit legs, glutes, and upper back simultaneously. And halos? They’re a secret weapon for neck tension, shoulder mobility, and spinal health — something every body needs, especially if you’re desk-bound.

3 sets. 10 reps. Zero excuses. And most importantly — it was FUN.

Movement is medicine. And sometimes the best adjustment you can give your body is a Sunday sweat session before the week begins. 💪
