Appreciation post for this guy .correll and being a catalyst for me to step into creation through his direct coaching and guidance✨

It was a year ago this past July when Jesse gave me my first “homework assignment” and asked me what is it that I will create in my life this week. My reply was “Well, I am going to first live event and I will have the courage to meet him and offer to give a sound bath at his first ever Mastermind Retreat”.

And so I did.

It was just one week ago that I had the opportunity to contribute to a group of some of the most amazing humans I have ever met by sharing myself and the gift of sound medicine. As if that weren’t magical enough, a golden eagle flew across the sky over all of us at the end.

It is an experience I will always remember. Thank you for your guidance and for holding space for me to feel safe enough to not only be myself…and to also share myself, my gifts and contribute to others.

Teaching at my first retreat 6 years ago this month 🧘🏽‍♀️

Someone asked me with two days notice if I could teach yoga at their retreat because something unexpectedly happened to the other yoga teacher. I was hesitant yet I packed my bags and went!

I am so grateful I did. I learned so much, not only about what it’s like to hold a retreat, and also about myself. It was that experience that planted a seed for what would eventually be .

It’s a trip to look back at period of my life. That old version of me was actually going through some really tough times and little did I know then that times were about to get a whole lot tougher with the death of a loved one.

I came out the other side and I am so grateful for that version of myself. She helped me discover my worth and to embrace my own humanity. It took her some time with a lot of inner work and healing. My intentions of wanting to truly help people are still there, but where I am coming from is different nowadays. I have evolved and am constantly evolving.

Here I am six years later…with a few retreats of my own co-creations and collaborations under my belt. And next month I get to be part of an epic exclusive retreat in Malibu! Grateful for this life. And all versions of myself that got me here ❤️

♾️

As my son and I set out to embark on touring the colleges he has been accepted to, our gaze was met with this cloud formation in the sky.

I have never been in any rush to “kick my kids out” and be empty nesters, I love having everyone at home together. It brings up questions for me around our cultural norms and why it is so.

If I am being really vulnerable, there is a part of me that is scared and sad that our relationship will change and we won’t be as close as we are anymore. Parenthood is a trip. We raise and nurture, guide and protect to ultimately let go.

For me these clouds in the sky were a sign, a deep validation that although this transition is bringing up all kinds of feels for me in regards to change and motherhood, that our bond is truly infinite and love is eternal. We will always be close no matter how far apart we are (I mean we are still going to be in the same state 😆).

I am also just so damn proud of and excited for my Vinnie Bear! ❤️🐻
