Fall is in full swing, and we’re celebrating with October’s Spirit Week in our centers! Join us for a week full of themed dress-up days, fun fall-inspired activities, and playful learning. Here’s what’s coming up for Spirit Week on Oct 27-31.

🎃 10/27: Pumpkin Parade - dress in orange shirts, pumpkin headbands, aprons, etc.
🍂 10/28: Leafy Colors - dress in red, yellow & brown with leaf accessories
👻 10/29: Friendly Ghost - dress in white tops with friendly ghost decor (stickers, headbands, etc.)
🧡 10/30: Candy Corn Colors - dress in tri-color stripes (white, orange, yellow) with candy corn accessories
🧛 10/31: Costume Day - wear your Halloween costume

These festive activities are more than just fun. They help children practice creativity, communication, and social engagement in significant ways. Our centers are filled with seasonal fun this month, but meaningful progress continues for a lifetime.

Autumn is here! 🍂 This month at our centers, we’re embracing our “Friendly Fall Festivities” theme with playful pumpkins, colorful leaves, friendly ghosts, and sweet candy corn decor to create a cozy and playful environment for learning.

We’ve lined up a harvest of fall-themed activities for your child to explore in our centers.

🎃 Decorating paper pumpkins
🍁 Making leaf rubbings
🌽 Playing with fall-themed sensory bins of dried corn or leaves
🍬 Practicing “trick-or-treat” with a pretend candy station

Packing snacks and lunches for our littles can be tricky. Everyday challenges like picky eating or sensitivity to textures and smells can make mealtimes stressful. Even familiar foods can feel overwhelming in a new environment. With a few thoughtful strategies, mealtimes can be calmer, more predictable, and enjoyable for your child.

We put together a few of our favorite autism-friendly mealtime hacks that parents often tell us help bring more calm, structure, and joy to their day.

👍 Include at least 1–2 “safe” foods your child always enjoys
🍱 Bento-style lunchboxes separate foods into small compartments so textures and flavors don’t mix
📃 Create a simple picture menu at home so your child can help pick their snacks
🎒 Use the same containers and bags each day so your child knows what to expect
🥪 Choose easy-open containers your child can open independently
