✨ Community ✊🏽

Today my little fam and I took a trip to the mall and this super sweet family recognized me and came up to say hello♥️

I loved being able to chat and hear some of their stories, I am beyond grateful for all of the support I receive from all of you 🙌🏽

From the bottom of my heart thank you all and thank you to this awesome family, it was a pleasure to meet you guys!

And if y’all ever spot me and wanna say “hi” don’t hesitate, I will always take the time to hear y’all out because after all, it’s all about community ✊🏽♥️✨

✊🏽Do what you can, when you can.

We often feel frustrated with BIG worldly problems that seem completely overwhelming.

✊🏽Justice, poverty, human rights, immigration, war… just to make a few.

But what I’ve learned over the last almost 20yrs of being active in fighting many of these issues is… “Do what you can, when you can”.

😡 I hated when people would tell me, “small changes, little by little” because my response was “Theres no time!”

But the truth is, we can only do so much, and fixating on the problem will not bring solutions.

✨ Remember, supporting your community in small ways may seem insignificant but they are the most impactful ways to create change.

So, when you feel overwhelmed and hopeless remember..

✊🏽Do what you can when you can ✊🏽

Chiefs Kingdom 🏈

Sports are quite the philosophical subject. On one end the Romans understood that “bread and circus” keeps the people happy and entertained.

Can sports be negative, yes. They can be a distraction and a method of division.

BUT…. Like anything in the world there is duality to sports, positive aspects that are dominant.

The ability to strategize, to work as a team, to grow as a leader and not even to mention all the physical virtues.

As a watcher, the passion and moments shared are priceless and I’m thankful my dude screams at the TV as loud as I do 😂

I love sports and I have always loved the following quote by Plato:

“He who is only an athlete is too crude, too vulgar, too much a savage. He who is a scholar only is too soft, to effeminate. The ideal citizen is the scholar athlete, the man of thought and the man of action.”

Feliz cumpleaños mamá! ♥️

I highly recommend a mom who is your best friend ♥️

Not a day goes by I don’t thank the gods for my mom. Every single person believes we have the best mom in the world (as we should) but I really do think I lucked out!

Yesterday I had her start Ted Lasso and the fist things she said is “omg that’s me!” 😂

And indeed I have NEVER met someone more positive, more happy-go-lucky, and more motivating than my mom 🙌

Her never ending crazy energy is unreal! She can work 10hrs, come home clean, make a dog house and end the day baking a cake!

I can sit here and type all day the reasons I adore her!

Gracias ama por ser tu, por haberme criado de la manera que lo hiciste y por siempre estar ahí, te amo de aquí a todos los mundos! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Best lesson she ever taught me was to be myself no matter what.

Extrañando El ReVéS de Café ☕️

That coffee shop raised us… philosophy deep dives after school. Over a double americano and a cold cup of water we plotted to change our country.

That coffee shop was a classroom at times, and a chaotic debate during the cold seasons. When it rained we would get a croissant and at 1am we would laugh uncontrollably.

Our names are still etched under the table, and El Grinch still says “hello”.

The valley still smells of life and it’s lights sparkle still at night, but you and I wandering it’s streets is still missed…

These two came into my life and elevated everything!

My goal for the last 10-yrs has been to create small businesses and be able to support and employ more Latinos & Natives.

Meet this team of hardworking sisters whom are both “dreamers” ✊🏽

💥 Sayuri is a certified trainer with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and is currently in grad school getting her Masters is Exercise Science.

💥 Yareni received her bachelors in English and got here Masters in E-Design & New Media.

Both from CDMX, both extremely motivated, hard working and an absolute joy to be around.

Gracias both for making my days brighter and being a huge asset in our endeavors. 🙌

No matter what you say, or what you do, there will always be two sides.

Every person you meet has a perspective of you. No matter what you’re story is, you can tell it but that’s doesn’t mean everyone will comprehend or see it the way you see it.

So, just be a good person. Do what you believe is right and don’t get to caught up on what others think of you.
