This is a patient that I treated for high cholesterol many years ago, and her cholesterol became normal after several months after taking Chinese medicine.

This time you can see how fast her blood pressure became almost normal after 9 days of taking Chinese medicine. She started on March 9, and that same day after taking the herbs, her blood pressure went from around 160 to 140 and her diastolic from 86 to 83. She texted me that day because she felt a little bit lightheaded and I told her that it was because of the sudden drop in BP. Only that day she experienced that.

She just went to the doctor and texted me this Wednesday March 18, that her blood pressure came up to 131/78 when they measured it at her doctor's office. She never took conventional allopathic medicine for blood pressure so that's the effect of Chinese medicine by itself.

Of course, not everyone responds that quick and like I said in the text, I'm happy but not completely happy until her blood pressure stays there for many months, then with the dietary recommendations and life style changes I'm sure she will be fine.

Just giving herbs that lower blood pressure without addressing the root cause doesn't give optimal results. Many women experience high blood pressure after menopause starts, so one must address the "hormonal" changes also to get to the root cause.

It's all about harmony and the balancing of Yin and Yang.

Educating the public about acupuncture and Chinese medicine in Mejorando Tu Salud with Mayte Prida. I also appeared in Univision A Primera Hora talking about cupping when Michael Phelps and the Olympic team made cupping a sensation ever since.

In my first TV appearance in the popular show El Y Ella on Telemundo, I explained and gave a demonstration of how acupuncture works on a model they provided. Lastly, in the show of Humberto Luna I gave a Qigong demonstration showing how by manipulating your Qi, I was able to bend a spoon at the base of the neck where there's a soft spot.

Instant, almost miraculous reaction to ear acupuncture. Patient that I treated about a year ago for another problem, came for a knee problem. He was in pain, and couldn't move the knee backward.

As soon as I put the ear needles, he was able to bend the knee and walk without pain. I told him that unlike the other problem which required several sessions of body acupuncture, this one I suggested just doing press needless(that he can leave in the ear for 15 days) because it was a simple sprain with slight inflammation.

I told him that in 15 days, if it goes away completely he doesn't need any more treatment.

Follow up of congestive heart failure case after about a year and 3 months.

As seen in another post, her legs were swollen as shown in the picture on the left, and looked like the picture on the right after 3 months of Chinese medicine treatment.

The only difference is that the picture on the right is the current picture I took this time. Before she started, she was taking diuretics for about 6 months, but her legs remained swollen and she will have to go to the emergency room to drain the water retention.

In other words, her edema never came back ever since that post. She continues to be doing great even though she stopped for some time the treatment( since she ran out of it because she went to Mexico for several months.)

The panting on exertion and suffocation, the feeling of blacking out, night sweats, palpitations have been gone ever since. Also her appetite is good, which is another issue she had before she started treatment(no appetite).

Chinese medicine doesn't use diuretics as the main strategy to deal with this condition. We use herbs to improve the functional activities of the heart, along with herbs that strengthen the kidneys and promote diuresis. Just giving diuretics will not go to the root of the problem.

Patient that I treated 30 years ago of severe bleeding hemorrhoids, and that I'm currently treating to manage the symptoms of Parkinsons, gave me this double testimonial.

Ever since I treated him, the severe bleeding, pain, burning, itching of the hemorrhoids never came back up to date.

When he used to go to the bathroom, he will drip/expel abundant bright red blood that will preceed the stools, even though he wasn't constipated. In Chinese medicine this is called intestinal wind. One needs to use herbs that not only stops bleeding because it will not go to the root of the problem, but also those that disperse wind, cool the blood, and regulate Qi.

So far with the Parkinson I'm very happy with the progress he has made. When he started about a year with me, his movements were "violent" uncontrollable as he demonstrated when I asked him to show, he will walk very slow in small steps, and his speech was very slow (compared to before I knew him decades ago; he used to speak fast like me). He was very rigid and spastic, to the point he practically couldn't get up from the chair. He was already taking allopathic medicine for Parkinsons when he came to me, and he still had all this problems.

Now, he walks definitely faster, and more flexible, his tremors are very "small"/ subtle when he gets a little bit nervous ( just like he became when I started filming him. Before I started the video, he wasn't shaking). His speech has become more "normal" that people that knew him before like me, noticed and told him. Also, now he can stand up by himself as he demonstrated. He also mentioned that before he couldn't raise his arm, and now he can.

Though it isn't a "cure", I'm glad I have been able to make his quality of life better. That's the power of Chinese medicine.

Patient that had already been to the emergency room and was given naproxen plus analgesics to no avail.

At the beginning he said the pain killers did help, and he went to work one day that was very hot and humid and was in a place that was very cold with air conditioning. He was going in and out from hot to cold so suddenly his back was very painful and ridgid. After that, nothing helped and couldn't get out of bed by himself or even take a step without having severe pain.

He was bedridden already for 5 days when I visited him 2 Fridays ago at his home, and could only go to the bathroom assisted with a lot of difficulty.

When I started treating him and told him to stand or turn around in bed, you could see that even to turn, he was in a lot of pain, not to mention to stand which he couldn't at all by himself.

I treated him with acupuncture and he immediately was able to get out of bed, and walk.

He came to pick his herbs the following Monday(3 days later) and he told me he was about 60 percent recovered. I did some cupping and he felt even better so I told him with the herbs I'm pretty confident he will make a full recovery since there was no lumbar herniation(he was told at the hospital after they did x-rays). I have treated even lumbar herniation cases of sciatica that were pretty bad, and up to now they are fine even though it has been 20 something years or some 10 years more or less, they are still pain-free.

For acute cases(excess condition)like this case which was a case of wind cold dampness attack, causing lumbago, the results seem very dramatic/miraculous because there's no nerve impingement to lumbar herniation so acupuncture is very effective by itself.

Chronic cases with lumbar herniation are treated more effectively with herbs though acupuncture can compliment the results since usually those cases are more of a deficient nature and herbs are better for that.

Patient that after 1 month of taking Chinese medicine his elevated liver enzymes and function went back to normal.

He came because he was really concerned about his elevated liver enzymes and many different gastrointestinal issues. You can hear him state how quickly he became a believer after being a skeptic.

Initially he was hesitant to try Chinese medicine because his doctor told him not to take any herbs or supplements because it might make his liver function worst.

I'll put the tests results later because he only has the previous results before I treated him, and was told by his doctor that his results are normal.

This is a patient that gave me the testimonial 3 months ago before starting her treatment for ulcerative colitis, for previous conditions that she had thru the years that were resolved by taking Chinese herbs that I prescribed to her.

In the previous testimonial she gave, she talked about how the chronic urticaria(hives), acid reflux, and gall bladder stone pain, never came back up to now(she came for those conditions at different times, years apart)

Now this testimonial is for ulcerative colitis in which she was experiencing really bad diarrhea day and night with yellow mucus, abdominal cramping, nausea, bleeding, severe fatigue, bad appetite and weight loss due to not being able to eat. She already been to the hospital to no avail and was given allopathic medicines but her day and night diarrhea will not stop.

After 3 months taking herbs, everything is gone: stools are normal, no pain, no bleeding, no abdominal cramping, no nausea and she gain back weight. Her diarrhea stopped really quick in about 3 days.

She continues treatment a and came to pick up more herbs today so she gave me this follow up.

Crest syndrome autoimmune disorder patient that after 3 months of taking Chinese medicine and getting Acupuncture treatment, her inflammation went from 13.4 to 8.3(less than 8 is normal) and her Crest syndrome reactive antibody is negative. (Please see below in the comments the picture of the before and after tests, the Facebook business page doesn't allow to post side by side pictures and videos)

She is starting her 4th month of treatment, and she was very happy to tell me the results of which I'm very happy, but not at rest until she is fully in remission, which would be after 3 years of testing negative for it.

She was very kind to let me post her testimony/testimonial with her consent, which includes not only video of her experience, but also written "proof " consisting of before and after tests.

When she started her treatment with me at the end of last year, she told me she didn't want to take the medicines which they wanted to prescribe her which are immunosupressant and anti-inflammatory( she never did and haven't so far).

I told her it was her decision because I am not the type that tells patients not to take conventional medicine. She even told her doctor who told her she didn't recommended doing that( not taking the medicines)but that it was up to her. Now her own doctor told her to keep doing what she is doing and she knows she is taking Chinese medicine. I'm glad to know that there are conventional doctors that are open minded and care about their patients without ego trips.

I always try to post tangible "evidence", ( tests, before and after pictures) not just anecdotal testimonies when possible, with the consent of the patient. It is one way to show the world that Chinese medicine works and it isn't just people's beliefs or the placebo effect.

Had to upload in 2 posts the video of the patient that had the stroke 4 years ago because Facebook didn't upload the complete 3 minutes of testimony in the same post below( see post below this one)

Patient that had a stroke about 4 years ago, and to my surprise, she is doing pretty good.

When she had the stroke 4 years ago, her mom told her to come to me, but unfortunately she didn't.

Four years later, she decided to start treatment with me, and now she is on her third month of acupuncture and herbs.

When she came to me, I told her that at this stage, it is very difficult to see improvement, but I was going to do my best to help her.

She had been going to physical therapy throughout the years on and off, but you can see the therapist reactions after she had a breakthrough recently.

You can hear her tell her story in her own words and the progress she made so far. The video of the physical therapy session was provided by her brother who is her caretaker and my wonderful "assistant," to get her on the treatment table when she comes to me.

I told her that her spirit and will to get well, is helping her more than other patients that don't have the will and spirit like hers. I'm there just to give a helping hand.

For stroke cases, the first 6 months are crucial to get optimal results once the patient has been stabilized by conventional medicine which is great to do that. Yet I have treated cases that were already a year old and did great to recover their mobility. One was a nurse that already had one year with the hemiplegia.(half body paralysis)
When she came to me she still had her arm in a 90 degree position and even though she could walk, she would drag her leg with the help of a cane or assistance. At the end, she recovered to my surprise "full" function, meaning her arm was able to move freely and her leg didn't drag(was able to bend it normally, but still had a very slight feeling of not being completely flexible like her other leg)

Herbs play a great function to treat strokes that passed the 6 months period. Acupuncture alone in my opinion can work pretty good, if treatment is started within the first 6 months but beyond that, herbs are need

On the Absolute Sincerity of Great Physicians, which has been called “the Chinese Hippocratic Oath written by the immortal divine physician, Sun Simiao:

"When I go to treat an illness I first must calm my mind and make steadfast my intentions.
I shall not give way to idle wishes and desires but should first develop an attitude of compassion.

I vow to rescue all living beings from their sufferings.
If anyone comes to me because of an illness or any other difficulty I will not concern myself with whether they are powerful or humble, rich or poor, old or young, beautiful or ugly.

Enemies, relatives, good friends, Chinese or foreigners, foolish and wise, they all are the same to me. I will think of each of them of them as a close and loved relative – or indeed as if it was I who had been struck down by an illness.

I shall not worry about my own life or my fortunes or misfortunes. My purpose is to preserve the life of others.

I shall not hide away in the mountains. Day and night, in cold and heat, in hunger, thirst and fatigue, I will single-mindedly go to the rescue. If I am able to act in this manner I may approach being a great doctor for those who are sick. If I act contrary to these precepts I am no more than a great thief to those who are alive.

People all too often look with contempt on those who suffer from abominable things, such as ulcers or diarrhea, however I shall maintain an attitude of compassion, sympathy and care. Never in a great physician should there arise an attitude of rejection.

I will not glory in my reputation. I will not discredit other physicians while I praise my own virtues.
Thus I shall fulfill my responsibilities and my destiny as a physician until I am no longer capable of fulfilling my obligations, or until the end of my lifetime".
