KHT was opened by Joanne Kassimir, an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist with 33 years of experience. There are three occupational therapists, all hand rehabilitation specialists, on staff at KHT. They utilize successful treatment modalities and hands-on techniques to treat all diagnoses and conditions affecting the hand and upper extremity. Common diagnoses include: tendon and nerve lacerations, fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, arthritis, tendonitis, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injuries, TFCC tears, burns, amputations, and tennis and golfer's elbow.
