After a slight glitch and prescription approved (again), Chantz finally received his chemo drug. He will begin round 2 of 12 treatments tomorrow. It really shouldn’t be this hard every time. 🤦‍♀️

I want to update everyone about Chantz. He is doing great. No more walker and uses the cane, and actually walks with it off the ground. Turning corners and learning to master opening doors and not stumbling. Finally his lymphocytes are starting to rebound but he is still immunocompromised.

He still has double vision and the left eye has a tendency to wander. We are waiting patiently for the optic nerve to hopefully reconnect.

His and Jannah’s spirits are high and hopeful to see what happens to Chantz’s progress. The dr said that the swelling in the brain will not be gone for 3-6 months after radiation. Fingers crossed.

Chemo restarts in a few weeks with dosage increased from last round. We pray that he doesn’t get as sick as he was last time. It was brutal.

Chantz is not feeling very well today. A lot of nausea and some vomiting. The dr added Compazine for the nausea along with his Zofran. No food for 2 days. He just can’t eat. Only 2 weeks of radiation left. We are hoping this new med regimen will work.
