NOT TO BE MISSED...
We live in an age of profound disconnection. Beneath the noise of a troubled world, many of us carry a quieter suffering - a feeling of isolation, of being separate, of being alone with our pain. Yet the Buddha taught that this sense of separation is not a fixed reality. It is a mistake - and one that can be undone.

This one-day seminar explores how meditation on emptiness gently dissolves the boundary we feel between ourselves and others. As that boundary softens, something unexpected arises in its place. Not just understanding, but warmth. Not just insight, but love. And where genuine love for others takes root, hope becomes not a wish but a living experience.

Come and discover why emptiness - perhaps the most misunderstood word in Buddhism - is not a teaching about nothingness, but about openness. The openness of your own mind. The openness of the future. And the possibility, closer than you think, of a life and a world transformed by love.”

Save the Date!
Illness often arrives uninvited, disrupting our lives and plans. Yet within its difficulty lies a profound opportunity for awakening. This course invites participants to explore illness—not as a detour from the spiritual path, but as part of the path itself.

Through teachings, guided reflections, and shared inquiry, we’ll examine how physical and mental suffering can open the heart, deepen compassion, and reveal the impermanence and interconnection at the core of spiritual life. We’ll engage illness as a teacher—one that strips away illusion, humbles the ego, and brings us closer to truth.

Whether you’re navigating illness personally, supporting others in their healing, or simply wish to prepare your heart for what life inevitably brings, this course offers a space for transformation and meaning.

Join us tonight!
We need a safe internal space in trying times and for our general well being. Improving our concentration in meditation naturally increases our experience of inner peace, happiness, confidence, as well as increasing our efficacy in all of other activities. Buddha highlighted one meditation in particular as the very best for increasing mindfulness and concentration, the meditation on the nature of the mind. In this series we will explore how gaining experience in this meditation helps us to easily overcome our tendency towards distraction, sets us up for making real progress in meditation, and helps us relate to our limitless potential!

Discovering Hope through Meditation on Emptiness

We live in an age of profound disconnection. Beneath the noise of a troubled world, many of us carry a quieter suffering - a feeling of isolation, of being separate, of being alone with our pain. "Form is empty, emptiness is form. Emptiness is not other than form. Form also is not other than emptiness. Likewise, feeling, discrimination, compositional factors and consciousness are empty…”

This is an excerpt of the Heart Sutra, viewed to be the quintessence of Buddha's explanation of emptiness, or "ultimate truth". From one point of view, it is utterly simple and a bare revelation of the truth. From another angle, it is like a beautiful puzzle to be explored and understood that will yield never-ending insights. Its raw power, when recited with a compassionate motivation, shifts the mind and empowers change.

The Heart Sutra, a beloved, sacred text taught by Buddha, includes a special technique for overcoming our own and other's inner and outer obstacles. While these obstacles can feel like walls that limit our life, we can transcend them using this profound and beautiful practice. In this festival, we will learn how to recite the Heart Sutra, dive into its profound and practical meaning, and see how it can help us overcome any obstacle life may present. This will grant us tremendous confidence to not only help ourselves, but to elevate, empower and protect others.

When the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and our mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arises from within.

The meditation on the clarity of the mind is one of the best and most powerful methods to facilitate this shift - allowing us to easily let go of busyness and distraction and to access an experience of mental peace and calm.

In this special weekly series, we will learn step-by-step how to meditate on the nature of the mind - a state of inner clarity that naturally restores our well being and reveals our unlimited potential for growth and development.

Find the missing peace and discover your true self - or ‘Buddha Nature’ - through this simple, yet profound meditation.

Despite our best intentions, the attempt to ‘fix’ ourself so often fails. We slide back into old patterns and find ourselves right back where we started - or even worse, more discouraged than ever. Why does this happen? According to Buddhist psychology the answer is simple: real change can only come through self-acceptance.

Through Buddha’s wisdom advice and the practice of meditation we can learn to connect with a deeper sense of who we are. We discover a new way of relating to ourselves and our potential. This allows us to fully accept who we are now, whilst also cultivating the self-respect and self-confidence that makes real change possible.

For as long as we can remember, happiness seems to be just around the corner. All we have to do is just get that thing — the next i-phone, the next relationship, the next vacation — the next thing that will finally give us the real happiness that we long for. But even if we do get what we want, we don’t always get the satisfaction we’d hoped for, and even if we get some satisfaction, it doesn’t seem to last! What’s going on here?! The Buddhist master Atisha likened this to drinking sea water - the more we drink, the thirstier we become.

We need to learn to find happiness in a different way. In this series, we’ll learn to recognize this constant craving that Buddha called desirous attachment, and then learn a different way to experience the deep and stable happiness we long for.
