Off to in Rome NY for the weekend! Very excited for this faire and for seeing some friends I've made this year! It's my second-to-last ren faire for the season.

Next month, the weekend before Halloween, I have the privilege to participate in the Delaware Renaissance Faire. This will be the furthest I've traveled with Hobbit Hollow Herbals, but I know I will be surrounded by friends once there! ❤️

I firmly feel it is very important for small businesses to lift one another up, and show support in whatever ways we can. Something as simple as a shout-out or a like on social media helps. So with that in mind, I am trying to be more active in supporting the farmers and businesses around me by mentioning the wonderful items I use from them. Hopefully you will look up some of them for some of your own needs!

This wonderfully, rainy (yes this is much-needed rain so I will rejoice in the replenishment of the earth) Wednesday, I decided chowder is needed. Every part of this delicious, hearty pot of chowder has been supplied by our local farms (except the crushed black pepper).

One of the perks of being a vendor at is that you can grab the local ingredients you need while working! Thanks to some beautiful garlic from Whale Rock Farm and a supply of delicious local honey from Still River Homestead, I now have a wonderful natural medicine in the works to get us thru this upcoming winter!

Opened up my booth this morning for day 2 of the Appleseed Fair, grabbed my sign that I put away in my booth last night... only to find this. Sitting right on top. No clue how it got there. Did not see it last night when I closed up.

A white feather... a symbol for hope, strength, positivity. Some say a feather left is a message from the other side.

Whatever the intention is... it has put a smile on my face and I am ready to have a beautiful day! ❤️

Beautiful, sunny morning! On my way out to Phillipston MA! It's a perfect day for Appleseed Fair. We will be there all weekend (including Monday! ) from 10-6. It's just $15 per car which is all being donated to the Athol/Phillipston firefighters association. A great cause paired with a day full of fun!

Big week to close out summer! You can find me at Grow Food Northampton tomorrow from 1-6, Florence market Wednesday from 2-6, and the amazing Appleseed Fair at Red Apple Farm in Phillipston MA Saturday to Monday!

You will also get the chance to check out Scott's skills behind the table this Saturday at the final East Longmeadow market from 9-1, and Sunday at the Easthampton Farmer's Market from 10-2. Just look for the purple scally!

Holy blowout! This was my trusty folding cart that is only about a year and a half old. I know I do a lot of shows... but come on! Going into the winter months means I will be needing a new cart fast LOL.

Vendor friends... do you have a cart you love? Preferably one with higher sides and I would love it if it folds up nicely (this one only folded in half and was cumbersome sometimes). If you do, can you send me the link where you bought it, or any info about it? I will be on the hunt this week!
