A Colorful Gift from the Heart

We want to give a heartfelt thank you to local Huntington artist Kristie Frischman, who generously donated around 20 of her beautiful paintings to Heritage Pointe of Huntington. Her artwork, full of vibrant styles and hues, brought so much color to our community and countless smiles to many faces.

We even featured her paintings in our monthly Bingo Shop, where residents could use their hard-earned Bingo Bucks to "purchase" a piece to brighten their rooms.

Thank you, Kristie, for sharing your creativity and kindness with us. Your talent has truly made a lasting impression!

Meet Our Board Member: Jeffrey W. Jones, Treasurer

Jeff Jones brings a wealth of leadership and defense industry experience to the UMMH Board of Directors as Treasurer. A retired senior director with Raytheon Technologies and BAE Systems, Jeff’s career includes overseeing the development of advanced radio and crypto systems used across global defense platforms.

Employee Spotlight: Dana Meyer, Business Office Manager

Dana has been part of the Heritage Pointe of Huntington family since 2016. She first joined us as a receptionist and was promoted to Business Office Manager in 2018.

Her path to Heritage Pointe is a meaningful one, for what started as a friend passing along her resume became a life-changing opportunity. Dana believes it was no coincidence, saying, “God puts us exactly where we need to be.”

What she loves most about her role is the deep connection with our residents. “It’s like working with grandparents every day. We share stories, support each other, and truly become family.”

Our Lunch Bunch had a wonderful outing to Don Hall’s Tavern at Coventry in Fort Wayne! The food was absolutely delicious, with favorites including fish baskets, Reubens, prime rib and chicken sandwiches, chicken baskets, and ham croissants.

In addition to enjoying delicious bites, we were also able to celebrate our very own Julie Schulz’s birthday! Julie was surprised with cake as the whole restaurant joined in singing Happy Birthday. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with great food, great company, and great memories!
