Our CEO Nicola Hawkinson, DNP, RN, RNFA, CPC attended last night's Healthcare Leaders of New York (HLNY) event at the Tilles Center.

The discussions on call centers, patient access and navigation, and the evolving role of nursing truly resonated with us at SpineSearch. As healthcare continues shifting toward outpatient and home-based models—while simultaneously integrating automation and AI tools—the demand for skilled, adaptable professionals is only growing.

The future of healthcare will always depend on people. That means a sustained commitment to mentorship, training, education, and meaningful exposure to careers in healthcare. Technology may transform delivery models, but it’s people who define the quality of care.

Nicola is looking forward to continuing the many conversations that began last night.

The VB Spine Mid-Year Fellows Spine Summit is a one-and-a-half-day program led by expert faculty from private, privademic, and academic practices in both neurosurgery and orthopaedic spine surgery. Designed for current spine fellows and senior neurosurgical residents, the course provides an opportunity to explore diagnostic and treatment strategies for spinal pathologies as they transition into practice.

This program is designed for current orthopedic and neurosurgical spine fellows, as well as chief residents.

It's a big deal. SO, of course we'll be there.
