👏 Good catch, Hannah!

Hannah Grigoraci, a radiation therapist in the Radiation Oncology Department at Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center, was awarded a Good Catch Award for her commitment to patient safety.

Hannah was doing an image match on a patient to ensure appropriate position and tumor coverage before administering a radiation treatment. She noticed on the image the patient had what appeared to be a pelvic fracture, which was a new finding. She notified the Radiation Oncologist who sent the patient to the Emergency Department for evaluation. The patient was admitted and treated by orthopedics, physical therapy and received pain control.

Way to go, Hannah! 🎉
