The holidays can be beautiful♡ ..but they can also be heavy.
Old memories, empty chairs, loud expectations, and quiet cravings can all show up at once. If you’re in recovery, please hear this: you are not weak for struggling, and you are not alone.
Every sober day you choose, especially during the holidays, is an act of courage.
While the world may be celebrating with excess, you are celebrating something deeper: clarity, healing, and choosing your life.
That is powerful. ♡
It’s okay if joy feels different this year.
Peace counts. Rest counts. Saying “no” counts. Leaving early counts. Protecting your sobriety is not selfish...it’s sacred. ♡
