🩺 Important Information for Our Community 🩺
This article highlights a serious concern for West Virginia families: new Medicaid work requirements and more frequent eligibility checks could result in 40,000–75,000 West Virginians losing health coverage in the coming years.

Many people who rely on Medicaid are already working, caregiving, managing chronic illness, or facing unstable work hours. Changes like these don’t just affect paperwork — they affect real people, real families, and access to basic health care.

At Ebenezer Medical Outreach, we see firsthand how critical access to care is for our neighbors. We are committed to supporting individuals who may be impacted and to sharing accurate information so no one falls through the cracks due to confusion or administrative barriers. We are preparing now to see more patients as a result of these changes.
