Salt of the World Ministries, Inc. has established Christ based sober living homes for men and women in Huntington, WV. We opened our first house on August 11, 2009 at 1427 7th Avenue. We are establishing The Shepherd's Program of Recovery and Transformation, a Christ based recovery program. We utilize "Celebrate Recovery" groups, meetings, and resources. Tiffany Brashear, M.A.C. of Family Options Providers, Inc. provides all of the individual therapy needs of our participants. A lot of the men and women we house come with no income and no employment. We try to keep our program affordable for men and women who do not receive help anywhere else. Your financial support will allow The Shepherd's House Ministries to continue to reach out and help. We are seeking businesses, churches, organizations, or individuals who
would our participants. $125.00 will sponsor a participant for week, $525.00 will sponsor a participant for a month. $6300.00 will sponsor a participant for a year. All donations are tax deductible. Make checks payable to: Salt of the World Ministries, Inc. These funds will assist 36 women and 14 men in recovering their lives, hopes, and dreams. We have support from local, county, and state representatives; however we do not receive any government assistance. You can assist these women and men now.
