It’s officially baseball season! If you’re getting into the game, make sure you always warm up before and cool down after playing, to reduce the chances of injury. Training for strength, cardiovascular fitness, and flexibility will also help. Stretching may seem small compared to strength and cardiovascular health, but it can keep you from injuries such as:
- Muscle bruising/contusion
- ACL sprains
- Meniscus tears
- Ankle sprains
- Back sprains and strains
- UCL sprains
- Rotator cuff tear/strain
- Rotator cuff tendinitis
- Thrower’s elbow
- Achilles tendinitis
- Knee tendinitis
Chiropractic treatments can relieve pain, and regular chiropractic care will keep you in proper alignment to prevent future injuries.
