Update for Francena Marie - from Kat Carrick

Update 2/19 this will be the single point of contact from here on out.
Honestly, posting individual updates when this exhausted is more than I can continue to do. Kentucky cousins surprised us driving since 4am and were here to visit with her. They washed and conditioned her hair, combed out the bed knots and braided it. Because she had company we were able to make some progress on the apartment. I realized I have been fretting that she would be alone, but we are under time pressure to get apartment and storage unit cleared.

Our days are shower. Grab coffee and some protein, drive to jboro, spend 5 to 6 hours there. Get some food. Head to Walnut Ridge skilled nursing home to see FMH.
Drive to Hoxie. Unload. Shower. Repeat
Days are merging into each other.

Thank you Barbara Younger , Glenda King , Lindsey Partlow Smith , Joshua Morrison Robin Hoots Cherisse Jones-Branch Winona Langston Elrod Bobbye Freeman for the emotional
support, schlepping donations away to the women's shelter, school systems, and other local social services in need of basics.

My heart is breaking, having just put a friend of 30 years into the last "residence" of her life on the planet. She is spiraling quickly and will likely be hospice wing soon.

Update: 2/18 FMH can receive cards at
Lawrence Hall Nursing Center. Room #401
1051 W Free St,
Walnut Ridge, AR 72476

Womangathering systers from long ago, reiki circle, and KKT its energy more than I have to respond individually. FMH moved to a skilled nursing facility connected to a hospice. Have connections here and can hire crew . Support for the cost of clearing out her physical spaces here is appreciated. Please forward through our network. Much love. Kat

The well work began today. No water since July in our well had to haul it in. This well should last and give us plenty of water for ceremony and gatherings.

Please consider donating to help cover the costs. We again have the potential for triple matching funds!

Year end donations are greatly appreciated. Without the generous support of our community we would not be able to provide this amazing sacred space.
Thank you. ❤️
