Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a lung condition, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema, that makes breathing harder over time. It’s often linked to smoking but can also result from second‑hand smoke, workplace dust or chemicals, wood or biomass fuel use and early‑life lung infections. Shortness of breath during activity, a persistent cough, wheezing, chest tightness and frequent mucus production can all serve as early signals. 🫁

Walk-in care with Dr. Lavender will remain open; however, patients must bring their X-ray images on a disc if needed for evaluation.
