Dear Treasured Patient:
Please allow me to take this opportunity to thank you for the privilege of caring for your health over the last 35 years. Prior to coming to Huntington, I practiced in North Carolina and Florida for 10 years which adds up to 45 years in practice. I have always loved my chosen profession and caring for patients.
As my 73rd birthday approaches, it is time for me to slow down to spend more time with my family and accomplish a few lifelong goals. For the past few years, there has been an active search for a doctor to assume the practice. Unfortunately, that search has not provided any viable candidates. Being committed to the continuing health care of my patients, the plan is to carry on with an abbreviated schedule as long as there is a need for my services, and I am able to continue the work routine.
Beginning February 1, 2025, the practice schedule will be reduced to one day a week. Therefore, as of January 1, 2025, we will no longer be accepting new patients. In addition, due to reduced staffing, we will cease filing insurance on February 1, 2025. We will no longer be accepting credit or debit cards. Check or cash will be the only method of payment for services rendered.
Thank you for your loyalty, trust and confidence. I have sincerely enjoyed serving you and value the many relationships that have been built over the years. I wish you only the very best and look forward to continuing to care for many of you in the years ahead.
