To accomplish this, ITA utilizes both hands on acupressure on select points, as well as hands off, to stimulate the 3 cognitive minds within the brain. This first stimulates the subconscious mind to question, engages the conscious mind to analyze, and finally allows the unconscious mind to surface, thus providing a pathway to self healing,awareness and self realization. ITA involves scanning and a sequence of energy movements, which may differ from one alignment to the next. Each sequence sends a different message to the brain, which then influences the long term memory."* Once old, negative thoughts, beliefs and conditioning are brought to surface and released, positive intent and powerful affirmations can be applied. This, then assists in bringing an individual to balance and alignment.
