✨ When the stars aligned—just for a moment 💫
A rare overlap, a powerful presence. All three of us—Tasha, Laura, and Sammi—happened to be at the hospital at the exact moment an incredibly strong and selfless mama found out she was fully dilated after hours of steady labor. We weren’t all there for her birth, but we were there for that unforgettable turning point—and it was magic. 💛🌟

Happy Va**na Appreciation Day!
Today—and every day—we celebrate the incredible power, resilience, and beauty of va**nas.

They stretch, they heal, they birth, they bleed, they bring pleasure, and they hold generations. Va**na isn’t a dirty word—it’s a doorway to life, health, and identity.

At Huntington Midwifery, we honor all bodies and all journeys. Whether you’re pregnant, postpartum, menopausal, healing, exploring, or just vibin’—your va**na is worthy of care, love, and appreciation.

Let’s keep breaking the stigma, talking openly, and holding space for each other’s truths.

Here’s to va**nas everywhere—may they be strong, supported, and celebrated!

April 20–26, 2025: National Infertility Awareness Week

This week, we stand with the 1 in 6 individuals facing infertility—a journey that is often silent, misunderstood, and emotionally complex.

At Huntington Midwifery, we recognize that not all paths to parenthood are straightforward. Some are winding, painful, and filled with longing. And for many, the dream remains out of reach.

This week, and every week, we honor those navigating fertility challenges—the hopeful, the grieving, the waiting, and the healing. We see your strength. We hear your silence. We acknowledge the complexity of your story.

Infertility is a medical condition, not a failure. It’s time we break the stigma, open the conversation, and ensure that no one walks this path alone.

Whether you’re in the middle of treatment, considering your options, or quietly carrying a burden no one else sees—you are not alone. We are here with you.

Let’s come together to build a world where compassion replaces shame, and support replaces silence.

You are seen. You are loved. You are not alone.

Chag Pesach Sameach from Huntington Midwifery!!!

As we enter the season of Passover, we reflect on the sacred themes of freedom, faith, and redemption. This holiday reminds us that even in the narrowest places—Mitzrayim, the Hebrew word for Egypt, meaning “a narrow place”—there is the possibility of liberation, hope, and new beginnings.

Midwives have always stood at the threshold of transformation. In the Passover story, the brave midwives Shifra and Puah defied Pharaoh’s decree and chose life, quietly becoming the first spark of redemption for the Israelites. Their hands ushered in life where there was fear, their courage laid the foundation for liberation.

At Huntington Midwifery, we are honored to walk with families through their own redemptive journeys. Just as the Exodus was the birth of a people, every birth is its own form of redemption—an emergence from darkness into light, from uncertainty into the promise of life. We are privileged to witness these sacred moments every day.

May this Passover bring light to your home, freedom to your spirit, and sweetness to your table.
