Celebrating 40 Years! I along with my wife Myrna, have been helping folks in the area of nutrition for the last 40 years. Starting back in 1979, after achieving poor health very early in life, I struggled with my health through my early adult years. Shortly after we were married, a chain of events led my wife to Solomon Wickey, an amish man in Berne, Indiana. Myrna had family in that area that had heard of Solomon. She told me this guy looks in your eyes and can help you with your health. When I first heard this, I thought this guy practiced voodoo or something. I agreed for her to go over there, just to keep her happy, to see what he had to say. That was with one stipulation, she would not buy anything. Upon her return from visiting Solomon, she brought in several supplements. She said “I didn't buy them my mother bought them for me.” I said okay, let's give it a try and see what happens. Within a short period of time I start to see changes take place in her. The crying spells stopped, her energy started to improve, and she had a better outlook on life. After seeing the changes in her, I said “I wonder if this man could help me?” That's when my journey began. I went over to talk with Solomon. He put me on some nutritional supplements and I too, along with a change of diet begin to change my health for the better. After my health began to improve, I felt the Lord leading me to help other people through nutrition. Then my studies began. I began studying with Solomon 1 to 2 days a week for two years. Under his guidance, I learned Iridology, muscle testing, and how to use herbs and vitamins. Today we have been sharing our knowledge of nutrition with others through our business The Healthier Way.
