Coronavirus Info
Dear Patients,
In the midst of the spread of Coronavirus, we would like to share some helpful information. While this virus is new, it is still cold and flu season. Influenza kills thousands of people every year. Like Influenza, the Coronavirus is spread through close contact with an infected person, but can be avoided by remembering to:
Stay home if you are sick
Wash your hands frequently, and for at least 20 seconds
Do Not touch your face
Cough/sneeze into the fold of your elbow.
Wear a face mask and gloves when out in public.
Signs and Symptoms of Coronavirus are:
Cough Sore throat Runny nose Fever Headache
General unwell feeling
Please keep in mind that 80% of cases will resolve with ZERO medical treatment. A generally healthy individual has little to be concerned about. However, as this is a highly contagious virus, it is everyone's responsibility to try to limit the spread. Someone with a compromised immune system, Auto-Immune Disorder and those over the age of 65 could potentially become very ill. We must do our part to look out for others!
