Compassion in Action at Heritage Woods of Huntley!
Meet Delaney, a Certified Nursing Assistant whose heart for caregiving shines in everything she does. Born in Skokie, Illinois, Delaney brings both skill and sincerity to her work at Heritage Woods of Huntley, where she stays busy providing individualized care tailored to each resident’s unique daily routine.
Currently studying to become a nurse, Delaney is driven by a passion for helping others heal. “Nurses play a vital role in caring for people in need,” she shares. “The thought that I can make a meaningful impact on someone’s life by doing what I love is what motivates me every day.”
When asked about her favorite people, Delaney is quick to mention her tight-knit family—her mom, dad, and her two younger siblings, Maddux and Kate. Being a big sister is a title she doesn’t take lightly. In fact, she considers it her greatest accomplishment: “I take pride in being a role model—offering guidance, support, love, and always being there to listen.”
Delaney’s bucket list isn’t just about one big goal—it’s about living with purpose. She hopes to pursue everything she’s passionate about: traveling the world, making meaningful connections, and continuing her journey in caring for others.
At Heritage Woods, Delaney finds joy in the strong sense of community. “The residents and staff here are welcoming and supportive. The relationships I’ve built—with coworkers, supervisors, and residents—are so special. I wouldn’t trade them for anything.”
We’re proud to spotlight Delaney this month—not only for her hard work, but for the heart and humanity she brings to our community every single day.
