Self-care is very important for our mental health, yet it’s so hard for many of us to make time for it in our lives.

For tonight, I just want you to spend a few moments THINKING about what self-care activities you’d like to do this evening, if I had asked you early enough in the day that you could plan to do them.

I would fill a nice hot bath and add some lavender Epsom salts, light a few candles for mood lighting, grab a glass of wine or cup of hot lavender tea depending on my mood, play some soft instrumental jazz music, and read my current Pride & Prejudice variation on my Kindle. The Kindle that is waterproof enough to survive being dunked in case I get so relaxed I drop it in the water.

Yes, there are some horrible things happening right now. That makes it even more important for us to find random small pockets of joy so we can focus the rest of our energy on important things. To that effect, we want to celebrate the joys of feminine friendships with a Galentine’s Gathering!

Valentine’s Day is on a Saturday, so come celebrate with your female friends in the early afternoon, giving you plenty of time to celebrate with your personal loved one in the evening.

SPARKLE Studio is an all-inclusive space. Everyone who identifies as a woman or as non-binary is welcome to be part of our celebration.

We meet every Wednesday night from 5 to 7 pm for friendship and to discuss all things witchy and metaphysical. Our group has grown explosively this past month. We routinely have 12-18 people, but we still have room for more!

We are missing YOU! Won’t you consider joining us?

Tonight we talked about intention setting, manifesting, and spell casting. Nobody here is an expert. We ask questions and share what has worked for us. Sometimes we find answers. Sometime we agree; sometimes we disagree.

But one thing is always true: we have a lot of fun. Laughter can be the best medicine.
