HEALS, Inc.

The HEALS Mission
It is our mission to keep children healthy and optimize their opportunities for success in school and society. By providing accessible school-based health care for eligible economically disadvantaged children, we are a real solution, right now to the health care crisis by providing them with a medical home. While providing much needed health care and dental care, HEALS also works to get and keep children on health insurance. HEALS strives to become a positive change agent in the lives of the under-privileged children of Huntsville and Madison County, Alabama.

HEALS has officially jumped on the AI bandwagon

We will be adding new team cartoons periodically, so stay tuned đź‘€

From mobile clinics and school-based care to outreach and behind-the-scenes work, innovation helps us share our impact in new and creative ways, while our heart stays the same đź’™medical, dental, and vision care for underserved children in Huntsville.

We are closely monitoring the potential winter weather event and actively making preparations both internally and externally, including taking steps to secure our clinics and facilities to ensure continuity of care and safety.

We have proactively reached out to the City of Huntsville, City of Madison, and the Madison County Commission to stay informed on available resources and options during inclement weather. Many of the individuals we serve do not have reliable or adequate heat sources, and access to timely, accurate information is critical to their safety and planning.

As resources, locations, timelines, and official communication materials become available, we will share them promptly. Based on today’s emergency preparedness press conference, most updates are expected to be released tomorrow.

In the meantime, please do what you can to prepare, stay informed, and look out for one another. For the most up-to-date information, follow the Huntsville-Madison County Emergency Management Agency, Huntsville Police Department, and Huntsville Fire and Rescue.
