I always thought RSV was only something little kids got. But then I learned the truth — every year, thousands of older adults are hospitalized with it. At my age, that was a wake-up call.

Instead of sitting with worry, I decided to take action. I volunteered for an RSV clinical trial. From the first day, the staff explained everything clearly and made me feel safe. I wasn’t just a number. I was part of something bigger — something that could protect people like me, and even my grandchildren.

I don’t know who will benefit from the research I participated in. But I do know this: one day, a family might have more time together because people like us said yes.

💙 I did it for my health. I did it for my family. And I’d do it again.

When I learned that RSV could put older adults like me in the hospital, I wanted to take action.
