October is National Eczema Awareness Month 🩺 These are real before-and-after photos of a patient who came in struggling with hand eczema. The results are only four weeks apart, and only topical treatment was used!

Eczema is the name for inflammatory skin conditions that cause dry skin, itchiness, rashes, scaly patches, blisters, and skin infections. While there is no cure for eczema, there are many treatments available to help manage it. (National Eczema Association)

Hey everyone! If you’re planning a theme park day over fall break, don’t be alarmed by what some are calling “Disney Rash”.

This condition (called Schamberg's disease) is caused by leaky blood cells and can be easily treated by wearing compression stockings and elevating your feet.
