Where you see a toy, I see an opportunity for a child to process their inner most thoughts.

A child's natural language is through play. It only makes sense that we use that language to communicate and work through their internal thoughts and emotions.

Every toy in the playroom is selected to allow just this. These blocks and tools open a path for processing traumas, anxieties, social distress, self-confidence, and so much more.

Five years ago, I started this little practice in a little house. I wanted to build a place that set what therapy for children should look like. A place where children could be themselves, be heard, and be seen. I wanted families to know that they were valued and understood.

Five years later, we've grown a little bigger, but the vision hasn't changed. If anything, it's gotten bigger too. Happy 5th Birthday Play and Grow Counseling!

We care. We care about what you have to say, do, and everything about you.

We understand. In everything that you do and say, we get it. We understand what you are communicating, feeling, experiencing, and playing.

We are so quick to take storms personally, and it can be difficult to hold space for our kids in the moment. But doing so is crucial in building connections and teaching emotional regulation.
