Had the opportunity to connect with friends and colleagues in San Diego at American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) this past weekend. I participated in our very first Digital Subspecialty Day where we explored the role of , digital workflow integration, virtual reality surgical planning and 3D heads up technology. I learned about venture capitalist strategy for startup companies and met with industry partners to collaborate on research and development as well as instrument design for current surgical techniques. San Diego was beautiful and the food and venues were superb. Im looking forward to going back in the future! Also big congrats to new president and fellow EyeCare Partners colleague Liz Yeu!
