Got to give a shout of to my wife. We started a new venture about 6 months ago with Huntsville Health and Aesthetics. She’s been working double time between kiddoes and getting HHA off the ground. She put together a Ladies Night Out for the grand opening last night which went off without a hitch. I’m still trying to find something she’s not good at, but I haven’t managed yet. I’m lucky to call her my wife, and she’s a hell of a role model for Grace and Lane.

We’d like to congratulate Madison Elkins who is the first recipient of the Dr. Young, Dr. Rathke, Dr. Kooi medical scholarship. She’s off to Texas A&M and we’re sure she’s going to do some great things.

Happy Mother's day to all the Moms today. I get a very interesting seat to see what motherhood is from a personal standpoint and the medical side as well. The difficulties with getting pregnant, the changes that come along with pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and the difficulties it can bring, juggling personal needs/wants with growing, protecting, raising a family make it a 24 hour a day job with no time off. It's the hardest job out there and it takes a very strong person to do it. I get to see it first hand everyday with my own mother and upbringing, and my wife with our two children.

Thanks again to all the Moms out there, and I hope you all enjoy a day to celebrate yourselves and it all that it takes to do the hardest and most important job there is.

Bring your little ones to hang out with me at toddler time April 3rd. Feel free to bring any sick stuffed animals that may need checks ups, and I’ll do my best to get them back on their feet, hooves, paws, or claws.

Our very own Dr. Trey Young will be talking to the kids about being a doctor, and helping them perform a check up on their stuffed animals. We can’t wait to see you there! 🩺🧸❤️
