Tonight's the night! We're celebrating 20 years of Melissa George Night with the Huntsville Havoc!

20 years of Havoc fans and players showing up big for tiny babies. 20 years of impact that has raised over $1 million for the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund at HHF. We are so grateful.

Thank you to the Havoc team for visiting our Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children Neonatal ICU earlier this week and seeing how tonight's game is making a difference for families from across our region.

🚑 MAC 1 is officially rolling and already making a difference for patients who need it most.

Yesterday, Madison Hospital unveiled its new acute care transport ambulance, and today it carried its very first patient. This means faster access to advanced care when every minute matters.

Stationed at Madison Hospital, this “ICU on wheels” will transport critically ill patients to Huntsville Hospital for specialized care, including stroke intervention, heart attack treatment and traumatic brain injuries.

We are grateful to the Madison County Commission for funding the ambulance itself, now nicknamed MAC 1 in honor of Chairman Mac McCutcheon.

We are also thankful to the philanthropic partners who equipped MAC 1 with its advanced medical equipment, including major contributions from Alpha Foundation, Robins & Morton, Bentley Buick GMC, Sheryl and Pat Thomason, The Jurenko Foundation, and Regions Bank.

Because of their generosity, our clinicians have the tools they need to deliver critical care on every transport.

This is giving that heals.

Ahead of the 20th annual Melissa George Night, Huntsville Havoc players rolled up their sleeves to make handmade blankets for babies in our Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children Neonatal ICU.

Next week, they’ll deliver the blankets in person and see how the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund supports sick and premature infants in our NICU.

Over the past 19 years, the Havoc organization has raised more than $1 million to help provide state-of-the-art equipment, family support and comfort for our smallest patients right here in our community.
