Ozarks Alive wrote a great article highlighting the work Huntsville's own Randy Ridgway has taken upon himself to clean and repair gravestones — including false crypts — in Huntsville Cemetery.

“The entire history of the community of Huntsville is contained in that 100-square-foot area,” he says of an older part of the cemetery. “Something needs to be there to tell the world that they were there and they did something. And if the stone crumbles or becomes unreadable or is lost, basically it's almost like they don't count anymore.”
