We have new meds in the dry eye space, but doctors are struggling to get them to patients.

Tyrvaya nasal spray (great if you hate drops)
Miebo drops for evaporative dry eye
Xdemvy for demodex blepharitis

A recent study in the journal EyeCare investigated the effects of eyelash extensions on the ocular surface. After the application of eyelash extensions, 84% of female study participants reported ocular symptoms (most commonly foreign body sensation) that resolved within 1 week for the majority of the participants. Clinical findings included the presence of corneal epithelial defects and decreased tear film stability, which did not return to baseline levels at 1 month; however, the meibomian glands were not affected.

If you suffer from dry eye, discomfort, and/or redness, you should not do this.
