Thank you to monthly Give-A-Way donors Michael and Carol O’Connor.

Michael serves as a deacon at Buford Church of Christ and supports the ministry not only through monthly giving but also by pouring into the lives of residents in our Monday night Bible study.

Their generosity and support are a meaningful encouragement to our men and a powerful example of what it means to Give-A-Way.

We celebrated our wonderful His Way volunteers last week with an amazing appreciation dinner! We were encouraged to hear the testimonies of three His Way residents and to hear volunteer Adam Stults share his story and experience as a His Way volunteer.

We also want to give a special thank you to Greta for organizing the event, to Cherri and Darryl for the delicious food, and to Mike for taking photos!

When a man graduates from His Way, he receives a “Full Armor of God” coin, inspired by Paul's writings in Ephesians 6:10-20.

Using the imagery of the Roman soldiers' armor, Paul highlights that one must put on the Full Armor of God. In other words, we must take personal initiative to acquire and clothe ourselves with the six pieces of armor mentioned in Ephesians.

As a follow-up to our recent blog about the Armor of God coins handed out at His Way graduations, Tom Reynolds explains the meaning behind each piece of the Full Armor of God.

When a man graduates from His Way, he receives a “Full Armor of God” coin. This coin is a reminder of the weapons that God supplies him to fight the ongoing spiritual battle for recovery. As a graduate, he is leaving the safe protective harbor of His Way and its structure, accountabilities, and ...

🐶 Welcome our newest addition to the His Way family—Mikka! 🐾

Mikka is a 2‑year‑old mixed-breed rescue adopted through Rocket City Rescue, an organization dedicated to giving dogs a second chance at life, much like His Way is dedication to second chances for men in recovery.

She’s already been a perfect fit for our campus community, getting along well with our other dog, Sam, and settling in quickly with a calm, curious spirit and learning the rhythms of daily life.

One of the most heartwarming parts of Mikka’s arrival has been how naturally she’s connected with our residents. She’s already formed strong bonds, offering comfort just by being nearby and bringing moments of joy and laughter throughout the day.

Her gentle nature makes her easy to approach, and it’s clear, Mikka is already part of the His Way family. ❤️

Since the very beginning at His Way, in 2007, we have given all residential graduates a weighted commemorative coin as an encouragement to remain true to the Christ-centered path of recovery.

The message of the coin is based on Ephesians 6:10-20, “To Put on The Full Armor of God”! We felt that encouragement like that would be appropriate as men complete the residential phase of their recovery program.

Read more about the significance of coins and how we use it at His Way in our latest blog post.

Since the very beginning at His Way in 2007, we have given all residential graduates a weighted commemorative coin as an encouragement to remain true to the Christ-centered path of recovery.
