Very thankful to be a part of HLI’s Healthcare Day. These community leaders had a chance to get a first hand look at what healthcare in Walker County looks like.

The class members were able to hear from our Interim CEO, Terry Scoggin as well as our Director of Business Development, Brian Goldgar about the current state of HMH as well as future plans and goals for healthcare at HMH.

The future of HMH and healthcare in Walker County is bright! Being able to have open dialogue and communicate with our community is something we cherish doing.

Thank you again to the Walker County Chamber of Commerce for the opportunity to host this great group!

Happy Doctors Week! 🩺💚

I want to take a moment to show appreciation to the Medical Staff Office — Zulay, Brianna, Alyssa, Morgan, and Kinze — thank you for all of your hard work, dedication, and the many things you do behind the scenes every single day. Our physicians and organization are better because of you.

A special shout out to Larissa, Eileen, Maggie, and Katy for the beautiful decorations and for helping get everything set up. You made the week extra special for our physicians, and it did not go unnoticed!

And a big congratulations to Dr. Montgomery for being named Physician of the Year — it is well deserved, and we are so proud and grateful for all that you do for our patients and our hospital.

Happy Doctors Week to all of our wonderful physicians. Thank you for the care, compassion, and commitment you show every day!

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us yesterday for our annual Chili Cook-Off! From the "Best in Show" contenders to the "Spiciest" and "Most Unique" entries, the Cafe was filled with incredible flavors and even better company. We had an incredible 16 chilis vying for the title!

Congratulations to all our winners and a big shout-out to the EAC for putting together such a fantastic event. We loved seeing everyone’s "hitch in their giddy-up" with those great Texas outfits!
