This week was a very difficult week mentally. But with the support of friends, I got through it. But looking back at it, I realized that I was too hard on myself. Where I should have shown myself grace, I instead used self-judgement and criticism.
Today, I want to remind you that when you are feeling down, doubtful, or being too hard on yourself, that you too are worthy of the same grace that you generously extend to others….
One of the most powerful truths in Scripture is that God’s grace is sufficient for us (2 Corinthians 12:9). We often hear this and nod in agreement, but living it out—especially when it comes to extending grace to ourselves—can be a challenge.
Grace for yourself is really about believing God’s Word over your inner critic. It’s about letting His voice be louder than shame.
Today, instead of being your own harshest judge, agree with God’s truth—His grace is enough for you. Walk in it, live in it, and extend it not only to others but to yourself. When you stumble, remember: you are still loved, still chosen, and still covered by His grace.
