Alabama Women's Wellness Center, P.C. is headed by Yashica Robinson, MD. Dr. Robinson was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. She received her degree in Chemistry from Talladega College in Talladega, Alabama and her Doctorate in Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her training in Gynecology and Obstetrics at University of Alabama Birmingham. She is a National Health Service Corp Scholar who is committed to increasing access to quality health care.

✨ Meet LaNiecia “Niecie” French ✨

Niecie is a Board Certified Physician Assistant passionate about creating a healthcare environment where all women feel heard, safe, and supported, especially in spaces where history, policy, and statistics have not always reflected that for vulnerable communities.

Originally from Nashville, TN, Niecie earned her B.S. in Biology from Alabama A&M University and her M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from South College Nashville. Her experiences during OB/GYN and surgery rotations helped shape her path and deepen her commitment to women’s health.

Outside of work, Niecie enjoys traveling, dancing, laughing, and empowering women. She shares that she is inspired by the entire AWWC team and is excited to continue growing alongside compassionate providers dedicated to making a real difference.

Meet Tiffany Golub 💜

Certified Nurse Midwife & Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner

Tiffany has been a nurse for 18 years and has been practicing as a CNM since 2019—making her the first Certified Nurse Midwife in the area since the 1990s. She’s currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (graduating May 2026) and is passionate about childbirth education, preventive care, and preconception support.

When she’s not caring for patients, you’ll find her cheering on Alabama football, traveling, listening to audiobooks, tackling DIY projects, and spending time with her pups, Ellie and Sunny 🐾

In Honor of Juneteenth – We Are Closed Today

Today we observe Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the continued fight for Black freedom and equity.

At Alabama Women’s Wellness Center, a Black-owned and led practice, this day holds deep meaning. We are committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to all—while acknowledging that Black women still face significantly higher rates of maternal and infant mortality due to systemic inequities in healthcare.

We are proud to serve our community with dignity, respect, and a mission to close those gaps—because liberation includes the right to thrive in birth and beyond.

We are closed today in observance of Juneteenth and will reopen during regular business hours tomorrow.
