Employee Spotlight- Purva,OT

• Purva has done home health since 2000. It will be 24 yrs this summer and she has been with Huntsville hospital home health for 12 yrs, ongoing 13 th year.
• Outside of work Purva loves to read and always looking for a new book. She loves to read classics and Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors. On the other end she likes science fiction and she has read most of Robin Cook's books and then there is mystery - Sydney Sheldon and the list will go on and on.
• She also enjoys gardening. She has about 17 indoor plants and then the outside ones. Purva is looking forward to planting now this spring.
• Purva also loves to cook and enjoy experimenting new dishes and decorating the house.
• She enjoys meeting new people at work. Everyone teaches something different: It could be how to do things or behave or what not to do.
• Purva's WHY "I love my patients and it's a privilege to see them in their home environment. It's a noble job and it gives me the utmost satisfaction when i assist the patient to achieve their goal and help them to stay as independently and as safe as possible in their own home setting as long as possible. "
