1: Know the Steps*
Familiarize yourself with the CPR steps:
1. Check the scene for safety
2. Check the person for responsiveness
3. Call 911 or your local emergency number
4. Start chest compressions (30:2 ratio)
5. Use an AED if available
2: Chest Compressions Matter*
Focus on high-quality chest compressions:
1. Push hard (at least 2 inches deep)
2. Push fast (100-120 compressions per minute)
3. Allow full chest recoil between compressions
3: Rescue Breathing*
Learn proper rescue breathing techniques:
1. Give two breaths after 30 compressions
2. Ensure a proper seal over the person's mouth
3. Give one breath every five seconds
